Registration Notes for WIAST Spring 2021 Workshop via Zoom Meetings
Hosted by your WIAST Board

  1. You must register online and pay with PayPal or credit card. Registration will close on March 1st.
  2. There will be no registering after or even the day of the Zoom Workshop. It is this way for us to get you the information you need to attend.
  3. When you register use your current AST email address, as this is the email address that the Zoom code will be sent to. Otherwise, whoever is registered to your PayPal account is the person that will get the email information you need to attend.
  4. If work registers multiple people and pays in one lump sum, that won't work this time. You must have an email address for each person as well as a payment for each person. Therefore, you may have to register yourself and get reimbursed by your place of employment.
  5. You will receive an email with the Zoom Meeting code. If your name is not on the list of people who pre-registered, you will NOT be let into the meeting. You cannot share the link with any other people.
  6. You can attend on your phone, iPad, and/or laptop, etc. Any device you have Zoom on.
  7. I highly recommend trying out Zoom before the actual day of the meeting. For two reasons, you know how it works and you make sure you have adequate internet connection.
  8. Once you enter the code you will be placed in a waiting room until our registration team marks that you are attending and lets you into the meeting.
  9. You will not log out of the meeting for the lunch break.
  10. Once back from lunch you will just return to your device and wait for the workshop to start again.
  11. You will be required to have your video on. I will mute you during the presentations and if you have questions you can raise your hand in the Chat area and I will call on you when the time comes that we can get your question in or you may type your question in the chat box and I will ask the question for you.
  12. There will be an email after the meeting with a link to do the Program Evaluation. These are important to us on the Board, so we request that you please take the time to fill out the evaluation when the workshop is over.
  13. If you are an AST member your CE credits will be submitted automatically, otherwise I will email you a certificate of attendance.
